Admission to clinical residency of VSMU

Admission of foreign citizens to clinical residency is maintained during the calendar year.

Foreign citizens who have a medical degree, equivalent of higher medical education of the Republic of Belarus may apply to clinical residency of VSMU. Work experience is not obligatory.

The duration of training in clinical residency for foreign citizens is not less than 24 months.

Issuing an invitation for training to a foreign citizen in clinical internship is maintained on the basis of the following documents:

• passport copy or copy of other identity document;
• copy of the document of education and its annex, indicating the period of study, the list of disciplines and the current results and the final certification;
• notarized translation of the listed documents into Russian.

For admission to clinical residency foreign citizens are to furnish the following documents:

• application addressed to the Rector of the University;
• copy of the diploma of higher medical education and its annexes, notarized and legalized in the established order (the originals are presented in the registration documents);
• copy of the recognition of education documents and establishment of its equivalence (compliance), issued by the State Educational Institution "Republican Institute of Higher Education" of the Republic of Belarus;
• copy of passport and visa (original documents shall be presented at registration);
• copy of the contract of compulsory medical insurance (originals are presented at registration documents);
• medical certificate;
• duly certified copies of documents confirming medical practice(in case of any work experience);
• 3 photos size 3x4 cm.
• notarized translation of the named documents into Russian;
• document, defining the level of language proficiency for training in clinical residency.

The enrolment of foreign citizens to clinical residency is maintained after payment of tuition fee and by the order of the Rector with the taking into account the following documents:

• application addressed to the Rector of the University;
• contract for training in clinical residency;
• recommendation of the head of the chair on the results of interview.
