Since May 6, the project "Memory in Faces" dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to expose in the art gallery. 

University faculty, staff and students - participants of the photo action, designed in the form of photo collages, presented their close relatives-participants and eyewitnesses of the Great Patriotic War.

 The installation, illustrated with copies of photographs from the war years, reflects the main milestones of the history of the Great Patriotic War.

 This special project emphasizes the importance of historical memory: "it is necessary for the living".

Together we pay tribute to those who fought for the freedom and independence of our country, those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of future generations.

The scientific part of VSMU congratulates Prokhorenko Roman Valerievich, a third-year full-time graduate student of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of FAT and PR, who received a grant M24MП-030 to carry out a scientific research on the topic “Study of the influence of branched-chain amino acids and lipid-enriched nutrition on hormonal and immune indicators of athletes during periods of increased physical activity.” We wish you new achievements in scientific activity!

Yaroslavl State Technical University summed up the results of the I All-Russian presentation competition (with international participation) in foreign languages ​​“Professionals are the future of the country. My specialty”, which took place within the framework of the decade of science and technology.

More than 100 students from 23 universities in Russia, the Republic of Belarus and other countries took part in the competition.

The activities have begun to improve the territory of houses in which VSMU veterans, juvenile prisoners, and children of war live.

The activists of the Veterans' Organization of VSMU and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union together with volunteers of the "Kind Heart" detachment cleaned up and landscaped the territory of the house where the VSMU veteran, highly qualified orthopedic traumatologist, Professor Mikhail Nikolsky lives.

On May 1, 2024, the VSMU students and staff took part in the IX regional patriotic action “Breakthrough of Victory,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the breaking of the enemy blockade by partisans of the Polotsk-Lepel zone in the Ushachi region during the Great Patriotic War.

On the territory of the Breakthrough Memorial Complex, a ceremonial meeting, thematic venues, a soldier’s kitchen, a concert and fireworks display were organized, and it was also possible to watch a battle reconstruction.
