On November 16, 2024, the 6th-year student of the FOST Dilini Nimasa Rajasekara took part from VSMU and presented a report "Cognitive deficits in patients with various pathogenetic subtypes of ischemic stroke" at the International scientific and practical conference "Modern Neurology. New approaches and relevant research", dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the "School of Young Neurologists". The conference was held by the Tashkent Medical Academy together with Bashkir State Medical University.

The library's Art Gallery is changing its exhibition. For the International Students' Day, we present the work of a talented young man, a sensitive and deeply thinking Pavel Sleptsov, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine. Pavel presents his graphic works made with charcoal. Portraits of a small child and a venerable old man, a young girl and a young woman, a couple in love convey a variety of human emotions from sadness, despondency and compassion to awe, fascination and admiration. The whole palette of feelings that accompany people throughout their lives.

On November 15, 2024, a ceremonial event was held dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of the formation of the military-patriotic Club of VSMU "I Serve the Fatherland".

The celebration began with an opening speech by the host, who recalled the purpose of the Club and its activities. The Club was congratulated on its birthday by Dorofeev N.B., the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel; Fomina M.P., the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Lyatos I.A., the Chairman of the Club; Bespalov Yu.A., the first Chairman of the Club.

Signature collection for nomination of candidates for the President of the Republic of Belarus is actively continuing throughout the country.

Students and staff of VSMU, led by the Rector of the university Alexey Chukanov, joined the signature collection at the university sites, the main one of which was the only Voter Center in the country (opened on November 12, 2024).

VSMU and Volgograd State Medical University have long-standing and fruitful cooperation.
