On March 20, 2024, an interuniversity bowling tournament “Roads of Victory” was held among the student youth in the city of Vitebsk dedicated to the Year of Quality. The organizers of the tournament were the city organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union of the "VSU named after. P.M. Masherov."

The VSMU team competed with teams from VSAVM, VSTU, VSU named after. P.M. Masherov and took first place with the access to the city stage of the bowling tournament “Roads of Victory”.

On March 20, 2024, a reporting and election conference of the primary trade union organization of VSMU employees was held at VSMU.

The conference was attended by the chief legal labor inspector of the Vitebsk regional organization of the BUHW, the first Vice-rector of VSMU Alina Shchupakova, the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Denis Lits, the Vice-rector for educational work Dmitry Kuzhel, and the members of the VSMU trade union.

On March 19, 2024, a reporting and election trade union conference of students was held at VSMU with the participation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk regional committee of the BUHW Vladimir Plytkevich, and the Vice-rector for educational work of VSMU Dmitry Kuzhel.

During the conference, reports were heard on the work of the trade union committee and the work of the audit commission for the period from November 15, 2019 to March 19, 2024.

On March 27, 2024 at 14.00 in the conference hall of the main academic building at a meeting of the University Council there will be a presentation by an associate professor of the Department of Hospital Surgery with a course of FAT and PR, Ph.D. Bondarenko V.M. to the academic rank of associate professor in the specialty “Medicine”.

From March 12 to 15, 2024, badminton competitions as part of the Republican Universiade program were held at the state institution “Multidisciplinary Cultural and Sports Complex “Minsk Arena”.

The VSMU team took the 4th overall team place among 25 teams from higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

The team consisted of: Vijesena Minura Ransika (6 FOST), Ifzal Irshad (3 FOST), Ruvini Kapurge (2 FOST), Nanayakkara Himandhi (2 FOST).
