On November 20, 2024, the VSMU delegation consisting of theVice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel, the Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Valentina Kugach, the Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Training Elena Gusakova, the employees and students of the university took part in the Business Forum "State and Business: Partnership for Sustainable Development", which was held as part of the Belarusian Entrepreneurship Week.

Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University took part in the discussion of the draft Code of the Republic of Belarus on Healthcare.

Following the discussion, the university staff made proposals to the draft code concerning educational and clinical diagnostic activities, including internship and clinical residency.

On November 19, 2024, online negotiations were held between VSMU and the North-West State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov on cooperation issues.

On November 19, 2024, the representatives of VSMU, chaired by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, held online talks with the leadership of the Shandong Higher University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (People's Republic of China), which houses the faculties for training specialists in the fields of pharmacy, nursing, rehabilitation, and traditional Chinese medicine. Denis Lits gave a presentation about VSMU and told the representative of the Chinese institute about the university's capabilities.

On November 16, 2024, the 6th-year student of the FOST Dilini Nimasa Rajasekara took part from VSMU and presented a report "Cognitive deficits in patients with various pathogenetic subtypes of ischemic stroke" at the International scientific and practical conference "Modern Neurology. New approaches and relevant research", dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the "School of Young Neurologists". The conference was held by the Tashkent Medical Academy together with Bashkir State Medical University.
