On May 28, 2025, in VSMU the report-elective meeting of the Volunteers Council of the University was held, during which the chairman of the Volunteers Council Boykova Daria presented the report on the work done by the participants of the volunteer movement of VSMU for 2024/2025 academic year.
From May 21 to 23, 2025 the republican project ‘Time of your opportunities 4.0’ took place in the National Children's Educational and Recreational Centre ‘Zubryonok’.
The event was attended by more than 160 people including the members of the Public Republican Student Council under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the members of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the members of the Republican Council of College Students and the Republican Council of Working Youth, as well as the employees of the Youth Centres of the Russian Federation. Yulia Bozhedomova, a student of the medical faculty, represented VSMU in this project.
On May 19-23, 2025, on the basis of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov the Sixth All-Russian Pediatric Forum of students and young scientists with international participation ‘Virtuoso of Pediatrics’ took place.
Within the forum Olympiads were held, in which students of VSMU took part.
On May 22-23, 2025, the XXIV Republican Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Modern Advances in Neurology and Neurosurgery” and satellite regional conference for neurologists and neurosurgeons took place, in which the staff and students of Vitebsk State Medical University took part.
On May 22-23, 2025, the VSMU students took part in the Republican Olympiad using simulation technologies “First Aid”, which was held in Grodno. 6 teams took part in the final stage of the Olympiad. During two days the students competed in theoretical contests and demonstrated first aid skills.
According to the results of all tests the team of VSMU “Phoenix” took the second place.
On May 23, 2025, within the held framework of the meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council the diplomas were awarded to the winners of the competition ‘Innovative developments in medicine - Medical aspirations - 2025’, as well as the diplomas were awarded to the students actively participating in the work of Student Scientific Society.
