On 13.11.2025 year, Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University, Alexey Chukanov, participated in the work of the Republican Council of Rectors. The main focus of the meeting was improving the organization and implementation of research and development results to support the country's innovative development.
The European Youth Boxing Championship was held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where Angelina Gizovskaya, a student at VSMU's of the Stomatological Faculty, secured a bronze medal in the 45–48 kg weight category.

In accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, aimed at comprehensive support for young specialists and interns, the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU) conducted several working trips across all regions of the country. The purpose of these visits was to familiarize themselves with the practical activities of university graduates in their first jobs and to establish constructive dialogue regarding the quality of their education.
On November 11, 2025, on the eve of the second meeting of the VII All-Belarusian National Assembly, which will be held in Minsk on December 18-19, a significant event took place at Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU). Alexey Chukanov, the rector of VSMU and a member of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus" from the Vitebsk region, solemnly presented party membership cards to the university staff: Lits D.N., Kuzhel D.K.; Sharyhina E.V.; Olenskaya T.L.; Rzheusky S.E.; Savchuk M.M.
During the autumn holidays, from November 3 to November 5, 2025, students from secondary educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus visited Vitebsk State Medical University as part of the career guidance project "Become a Student of VSMU for One Day."
Participants could choose from four faculties: General Medicine Faculty, Pediatrics Faculty, Stomatological Faculty, or Pharmaceutical Faculty.
