On January 30, 2025, the opening of an exhibition of creative works by Amina Shahid, a 6th-year student of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training, “Anatomy on Canvas,” took place at the Cultural and Educational Center of Pakistan at VSMU. The staff and students, friends and family gathered to congratulate Amina on the opening of the exhibition.

On January 30, 2026, a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council and the plenary session of the 80th scientific session of the University took place.

In 2025, 19 students of the winter admission in the specialty "General Medicine" will graduate from the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training.

On January 31 at 14:00 in the assembly hall of VSMU there will be a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 39th graduation of "Doctors of Medicine" (the first graduation of the winter admission) of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training.

On January 29, 2025, the 80th scientific session of the University "Achievements in fundamental, clinical medicine and pharmacy" began its work at the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the formation of VSMU and timed to coincide with the Day of Belarusian Science.

On January 28, 2025, the negotiations were held in the format of a video conference between VSMU and a new partner from India, the Chandigarh Group of Colleges.

The Indian partners were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work, Denis Lits. The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Valentina Kugach, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Anna Pchelintseva.
