VSMU staff members are participants of the First Interregional Congress on Allergology and Immunology

VSMU staff members - the Professor Ishchenko O.V., the Associate Professor Alyakhnovich N.S. took an active part in the work of the First Interregional Congress on Allergology and Immunology with international participation on October 10-11, 2024 in Moscow, Russian Federation.

The eventful congress program included 2 plenary sessions, a key lecture by the Professor F.Yu. Garib, more than 6 symposia, sections on the specialty of clinical immunology and allergology, a discussion club "When an allergist is the first specialist", a school "News of molecular allergodiagnostics".

The Clinical Council meeting was held at VSMU

On October 22, 2024, the Clinical Council meeting was held at VSMU.

The following took part in the work of the Clinical Council: the Rector of the University Alexey Nikolaevich Chukanov, the First Vice-Rector Alina Nikolaevna Shchupakova, the Deputy Head of the Main Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Lyudmila Fedorovna Kovaleva, the Vice-Rector for Medical Work Maxim Mikhailovich Savchuk, the Chief Physician of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Specialized Center" Valery Larionovich Denisenko and the heads of the clinical departments of the University.

Open lectures "90 years of VSMU"

On October 21, 2024, as part of a series of open lectures dedicated to the 90th anniversary of VSMU, a lecture was held by the head of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Continuing Education, Professor V.S. Glushanko on the topic "Organizational models of world health care systems" for the 5th-year students, teachers and healthcare managers.

An alley in honor of the 90th anniversary of VSMU and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus was planted in the botanical garden of VSMU

An alley dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders was planted in the botanical garden of Vitebsk State Medical University.

The Rector of VSMU Aleksey Chukanov, the university administration, teachers and students took part in the planting of the alley.

Parental Love Week at VSMU

Our country has always been strong in family traditions. Family, love, loyalty, care for family and friends are the main values for every person. They fill our lives with meaning, help us fully experience happiness and joy, and overcome any adversity.

Project "Youth of VSMU for Family Values. Large Families are the National Wealth of Belarus"

On October 17, 2024, VSMU hosted the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the Week of Parental Love and the innovative educational project "Youth of VSMU for Family Values. Large Families are the National Wealth of Belarus". The project "Youth of VSMU for Family Values!" has been implemented at the university since 2021 as part of the trilateral cooperation of VSMU, the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Pokrov Charitable Foundation for the Support of Family, Motherhood and Childhood. The project team members are university students.
