On December 4, 2024, the VSMU students visited one of the picturesque districts of the Vitebsk region - Ushachy, where they visited the Museum of People's Glory named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.E. Lobank, dedicated to the heroic Ushachy partisan zone, as well as the memorial complex "Breakthrough".

District Ushachy is the small homeland of the writer Vasil Bykov, poets Ryhor Borodulin and Petrus Brovka, which became a source of inspiration for their work.

On December 4, 2024, a productive meeting of the administration with the staff of the VSMU Clinic took place.

the First Vice-Rector Alina Shchupakova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, the Head of the Security and Safety Department Roman Chizhov, the Chairman of the Employees' Trade Union Alexander Myasoedov.

On December 4, 2024, a dialogue platform was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the participation of the Deputy of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, chief physician of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Cardiology Center Natalia Aleksandrovna Podolinskaya.

Having greeted the audience and introduced the guest, the Rector of VSMU Aleksey Nikolaevich Chukanov gave the floor to Natalia Aleksandrovna. She, in turn, covered the issues of the electoral campaign in the Republic of Belarus, focused on the achievements of sovereign Belarus, noted the importance of youth participation in the socio-economic and socio-political life of our state.

A volleyball tournament for the VSMU Rector's Cup with the participation of women's teams of medical universities of the Republic of Belarus has begun at Vitebsk State Medical University

The grand opening of this tournament, which has already become traditional, took place in the large sports hall of VSMU on December 3, 2024. The University's Rector Alexey Chukanov and the Chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers Vladimir Plytkevich addressed the audience with words of greeting.
