On February 6, 2025 new partners – representatives of the Shandong Higher College of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited VSMU.

The guests from the Chinese educational establishment were greeted by the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Affairs Elena Sharykhina, the Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty Valentina Kugach and the Head of the Department of International Affairs Anna Pchelintseva.

On February 7, 2025, the winter scientific and educational school “Scientific and Practical Aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology” has completed its work at Vitebsk State Medical University. It was held at the university from February 3 to 7.

On February 6, 2025, the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU held a career guidance meeting with members of the medical club “Grandchildren of Hippocrates” – students of grades 10-11 of the SEE “Orsha Secondary School No. 21”.

As part of the event, with the aim of further cooperation and improving the system of career guidance for young people, a 6^th year student of the General Medicine Faculty Dmitry Alifirenko held a presentation of our university, acquainted secondary school students with the advantages of studying at VSMU, and also answered all the questions of interest to the students.

We are pleased to inform you that the VSMU Library has become a participant of the international RSCVD initiative, which provides access to scientific publications and research materials through a free document delivery service.

On January 31, 2025, the students of the 1-3 courses of the Faculty of Overseas Student’s Training, together with the curators, teachers of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language, and the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, visited Ilya Repin's Zdravnevo Museum-Estate. The students were able to see the artist's summer cottage, get acquainted with copies of his works, photographs, documents, and household items from the late 19th - early 20th centuries. After the excursion, the students walked along the alley, made wishes, and took many photos to remember the trip.
