On September 29, 2021, representatives of the university met with the Vice Chancellor for International Students Programme and International Relations of Volgograd State Medical University Natalia Aleksandrovna Alshuk. 

During the visit to the university, N.A. Alshuk got acquainted with the organization of the educational process of VSMU, the material and technical base, visited the departments of clinical microbiology, topographic anatomy and operative surgery, as well as the anatomical museum and electronic library.

On September 28, 2021 Alok Ranjan Jha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Belarus visited Vitebsk State Medical University in order to get acquainted with the educational and scientific potential of the university. 

On September 30, 2021, a solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to the educational system employees was held at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko congratulated the guests on the upcoming professional holiday, Teacher's Day, and presented awards. 

Professor Kozlovsky Vladimir Iosifovich, Head of the Department of Therapy and Cardiology with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining was awarded a Medal “For Labour Merits”.

Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of VSMU and devoted to the memory of V.S. Kunitsky was held in the conference hall of the morphological building of VSMU on September 24, 2021. The conference was held online.
