Large-scale, spectacular, unforgettable! This is exactly how one can describe the show “Mr. VSMU”, which became the final event in the program of the festival “VSMU Student Autumn-2023”.

On November 29, 2023, a ceremonial council and concert program dedicated to the 89th anniversary of the founding of VSMU took place at the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

On November 30, 2023, the traveling exhibition “Formation of a healthy lifestyle through the eyes of a student” was held at VSMU. The organizers are employees of the health and healthy lifestyle office at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare with a course in FAT and R.

Exhibits of the exhibition were presented by the 5th year students: Vera Saganovich, Daria Tsybulskaya, Maria Grosheva, Angelika Makaronok. Handouts on healthy lifestyles were prepared for students and employees in an amount of more than 2000 copies.

The exhibition was visited by the rector of the university Alexey Chukanov, the vice-rector for security, regime and personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, the vice-rector for educational work Natalya Boltrushevich, more than 1000 students, the curators with their groups and other VSMU employees, as well as deans and heads of departments.

On November 30, 2023, the Student Olympiad in Aesthetic Dentistry took place. The purpose of the event was to improve the theoretical and practical training of future dentists, expand their medical horizons, develop clinical thinking and motivate students to acquire knowledge and professional competencies.

On November 30, 2023, the Career Advisory Center of the Student Council for the Quality of Education, together with the teacher of the Department of Physical Education, Alexander Tur, held a round table on the topic “The relevance of scientific activity among students.”

The event was organized by the Student Council for the Quality of Education of VSMU and the Student Scientific Society.

During the conversation the main questions that students face during their scientific journey were highlighted. First-year students spoke about their difficulties, their vision of solving them and ideas, and participants in the Career Advisory Center shared their personal experiences according to the proposed topics.
