Dear friends!

I congratulate you on the October Revolution Day, which changed the course of human history and the fate of Belarusians in the 17th year of the last century. A new era began, into which the Belarusian people entered with the status of a political nation, the first to create a national state on their native land.

The October Revolution became a source of inspiration for many generations of people living in different corners of the Earth, offering principles of social justice, equal rights and opportunities to replace the ideology of capitalism.

Today sovereign Belarus continues to develop confidently: we have built a modern country with a stable economy, while maintaining the social orientation of the state. Creative work, social justice, respect for history and traditions are the main factors in the consolidation of Belarusian society.

On this significant day I wish all of us new achievements for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus, good health, peace and prosperity!

On November 5, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Chief of the International Relations Office Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva held talks with the leadership of the Huanggang Polytechnic Institute (People's Republic of China), which houses faculties for training specialists in the field of medicine.

On October 31, 2024, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted an award ceremony for the best teachers, staff and students dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university.

On November 1, 2024, a ceremonial Council dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University was held in the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

On the last evening of October, the concert hall "Vitebsk" was filled with the sounds of music, the shine of costumes and the light of smiles – the students and staff of VSMU gathered for the Autumn Ball, in honor of the anniversary of their beloved university.

Polonaise, waltz, quadrille, polka, cotillion - these almost forgotten dances seemed to have found a second life at our ball. Moreover, their teachers waltzed along with the students.
