On December 30, 2025, representatives of VSMU participated in the final New Year's Eve live broadcast of the project "Your Choice" on Radio Vitebsk.

Elena Gusakova, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Dean of the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course at VSMU; Evgeny Shabunin, Deputy Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Ideological and Educational Work; and Maria Gorbunova, a second-year student at the Pharmaceutical Faculty, discussed issues related to admission and training in pharmacy, as well as congratulated all Radio Vitebsk listeners on the upcoming New Year.

On December 29, 2025, the grand closing ceremony of the Republican cultural and educational campaign "Facets of Creativity" took place at VSMU. The purpose of the campaign was to create conditions for the creative realization of students, develop and support student youth initiatives, foster an objective attitude of youth toward the historical past, and preserve and strengthen the unity of the Belarusian people.

From December 19 to 24, 2025, the Faculty of Advanced Training and Staff Retraining graduated 60 students across four specialties. All the specialists successfully passed the State Exam, demonstrating a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during their studies, and received diplomas of retraining at the higher education level.

From December 23, 2025, to January 14, 2026, the Republican New Year's charity event for the elderly, "From the Bottom of My Heart," will be held across all regions of our country.

VSMU, of course, did not remain indifferent to this noble and vital cause. On December 23, veterans—many of whom dedicated numerous years of their lives to working at our university—gathered at the university café "Locus Bonus." Many of these individuals remember the challenging years of the Great Patriotic War and the arduous post-war reconstruction of the country. A beautiful table was set, a festive program prepared by the student club, and congratulations along with favorite songs were played...

In the team competition among staff, the first place was awarded to the team of the Department of Evidence-Based Medicine, the second place to the team of the VSMU Rector's Office, and the third place to the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.

Ivan Zhiltsov secured first place in the men's individual championship, Egor Ilyin took second place, and Alexey Pogotsky finished third place.

In the women's individual competition, Ekaterina Piraner claimed first place, Alla Pogotskaya took second place, and Anastasia Belkovskaya secured third place.
