On June 28, 2024, within the framework of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the Rector of Ivanovo State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Viktorovna Ivanova visited VSMU.

On behalf of VSMU, the Rector was greeted by the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Denis Nikolaevich Lits, the Head of the international relations department Elena Vitalievna Sharykhina, and the Head of the international relations department Anna Aleksandrovna Pchelintseva.

A cooperation agreement was signed, many points of contact were found for organizing the exchange of students and teachers, giving lectures, mutual participation in scientific and practical events and other events held by our universities.

It has already become a tradition to hold a Republican holiday in our country for the graduates of higher education establishments who have achieved special success in their studies, creativity, sports, scientific and social activities.

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Khodjaev, more than 30 graduates of VSMU, led by the rector of the university Alexei Chukanov, take part in this bright and spectacular event.

In 2024 the holiday will be held under the slogan “Sails of Dreams.” And this is no coincidence, because recently received diplomas will allow graduates to realize their dreams, become real specialists and succeed in the profession.

As part of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia a sectional meeting “Innovative medicine and pharmacy in the Union State: priority areas and development prospects” was held at VSMU.

On June 27, 2024, one of the most important periods for applicants began - the admissions campaign.

The first to submit documents are those applying for targeted training, as well as the winners of the university Olympiad.

Applicants have already begun the process of completing applications and submitting documents.

On July 4, 2024, a change of exhibition will take place in the library’s art gallery. The combined thematic exhibition will feature photographic works by those exhibitors whose photographic works have previously been displayed in the art gallery. Magnificent landscapes reflecting the beauty and diversity of nature will be presented by L.I. Belyaeva - the Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology, E.A. Kovalenko – the 1st category librarian of the department of support and development of library information systems and technologies, Maxim Babkunov – the 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Kasperovich Victoria – the graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of VSMU. Also, each of us will have the opportunity to see the photographs of A.A. Pashkov – the candidate of medical sciences, associate professor - who, unfortunately, is no longer among us. Be surprised and admired, inspired and charged by the wonders of nature. What could be better?
