VSMU on the Republican Board of Honor

On April 30, 2024, on the eve of Labor Day, the opening of the updated Republican Board of Honor took place, on which, following the results of the competition, Vitebsk State Medical University was listed as the winner of the competition for achieving the best results among educational establishments in 2023.

The delegation of VSMU, headed by the rector of the university Alexey Chukanov, took part in the opening ceremony of the updated Republican Board of Honor.

Participation of a VSMU student in the II Festival of Technological Entrepreneurship “Technocode”

On April 17, 2024 - the 6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine Afanasyev V.V. (subordinate-oncology surgeon) took part in the II Festival of Technological Entrepreneurship “Technocode”, held in Moscow on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian Economic University named after. G.V. Plekhanov." In addition, the festival was held at the sites of another 67 universities in the Russian Federation. The goal of the festival is to build long-term partnerships between university student teams and technology business leaders.

International cooperation between VSMU and Russian universities

From April 23 to May 3, 2024, 8 students of Ryazan State Medical University named after. Academician I.P. Pavlov participate in the academic mobility program in the form of included training in the discipline “Neurology and Neurosurgery” at VSMU.

The students of Ryazan State Medical University undergo practical training under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of VSMU, Associate Professor Alekseenko Yu.V., the Associate Professor Belyavsky N.N., the senior teachers Dyatlova A.M. and Sapego I.A.

Meeting with a delegate of the Supreme Council

On April 29, 2024, a dialogue platform “The All-Belarusian People's Assembly is a guarantor of political stability and sovereignty” was held at VSMU with the 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine.

The speaker of the event was a student of the Faculty of Medicine at VSMU, Elizaveta Ivanova, the youngest delegate of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

Electronic library "BookUp" contains educational and scientific medical literature by Russian publishers, including translations of the best foreign editions, medical books in foreign languages.

Includes the collection "Big Medical Library", which contains literature from publishing houses of medical universities of Russia and Belarus.

To access the literature you need to register individually from the IP-address of the university.
