On May 3, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits met with a teacher and students from the partner university - Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov, who completed their participation in the academic mobility program in the form of included training in the discipline “Neurology and Neurosurgery” at VSMU, and in a solemn atmosphere presented official letters of study to students and gratitude to the teacher of Ryazan State Medical University.

On May 2, 2024, the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of VSMU Konstantin Mikhailovich Kubrakov conducted classes for students of the partner university of Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov, who participate in the academic mobility program in the form of included training in the discipline “Neurology and Neurosurgery” at VSMU. The Ryazan State Medical University students expressed great gratitude for the opportunity to undergo training in neurosurgery under the guidance of such a high-level specialist.

The field work of VSMU employees continues to provide practical and methodological assistance to doctors in the regions. This working week the following people visited healthcare institutions in the Vitebsk region:

29.04.2024. Shilina K.G., the assistant of the chair of general medical practice, saw 15 patients at an outpatient appointment in Gluboka CRH.

Since May 6, the project "Memory in Faces" dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to expose in the art gallery. 

University faculty, staff and students - participants of the photo action, designed in the form of photo collages, presented their close relatives-participants and eyewitnesses of the Great Patriotic War.

 The installation, illustrated with copies of photographs from the war years, reflects the main milestones of the history of the Great Patriotic War.

 This special project emphasizes the importance of historical memory: "it is necessary for the living".

Together we pay tribute to those who fought for the freedom and independence of our country, those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of future generations.
