On April 25, 2024, the event “Everyone Wrote the History of Victory” was held at VSMU, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the upcoming Victory Day, organized by the department of pathological physiology, the military department, the military-patriotic club, and the primary organization of “Belarusian Union of Women” and the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade.
On April 25, 2024, at Vitebsk State Medical University and healthcare institutions, the 76th scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university “Topical issues of modern medicine and pharmacy,” was held.
On the eve of Victory Day and as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the student council of VSMU, the primary organizations - "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" and the trade union organization of students are launching the literary challenge "Poems of Victory" from May 1 to May 31, 2024.
On April 25, 2024, the library of Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine hosted the opening of the third personal exhibition of artistic works by Daria Maretskaya, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Medicine at VSMU, “The Amazing World of Nature.” Two previous exhibitions, in 2021 and 2024, were opened at the university and at the art and graphic faculty of VSU named after P.M. Masherov.
The employees of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” carry out field work to provide practical and methodological assistance to doctors in health care institutions of the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions.
