ATTENTION!
Entrance tests in chemistry, biology and the language of tuition for preparatory departments’ graduates of educational institutions of Republic of Belarus who wish to study at VSMU will take place on June 27, 28, and 29, 2016. Program in Chemistry Pre-university training of foreign students
Step 1. Admission Requirements
The applicant should submit the documents to the Admission board of the Faculty of overseas students training:
- application addressed to the vice-rector of the university;
- valid passport with period of validity no less than 1 year;
- document on completion of secondary education with results on biology and chemistry upscale (in Russian, English, French, Spanish of German language).
Additionally, the admission commission may request the document, proving paying capacity of the applicant (or his/her sponsor).
The abovementioned documents with all the supplements must be submitted to the International department of VSMU by fax, e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or any other convenient way.
Step 2. Invitation for educational
The citizens from countries of visa regime must get invitation for education to apply for Belarusian visa. The invitation is prepared at the university. Sending of the invitation by VSMU is maintained by regular post ONLY.
NB! The invitation, issued by the university is the ground for visa receiving. The period of validity of the invitation is 3 months from the date of its approval by the Ministry of citizenship and migration. Please, plan the date of your arrival in accordance with this term.
Step 3. Deadline for applications
Applications are accepted till the 5th of August, since the standard beginning date for the course is the 1st of September. Late admissions will be considered on the individual basis. For information regarding non-standard academic years, please, contact us.
In accordance with the requirements of the Legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the admission for the 1st course is maintained till the 15th of October, for the preparatory course – till the 15th of November. In case of late submission of documents the invitation is issued with limited term for arrival.
Step 4. Arrival for education
In accordance with the requirements of Border control authorities and General consulate of the Republic of Belarus, the citizens who apply for visa in consulate of the National Airport Minsk, must inform the university 15 days before the planned date of arrival and route of travel.
The visa will be issued ONLY if all the documents are submitted and with the presence of the university representative.
To get the visa the applicant must submit:
- valid passport;
- documents of secondary education, legalized in established order;
- filled visa application form (http://mfa.gov.by/en/visa/info/visa-applications.html);
- 1 photo, size 35х45;
- valid invitation for education;
- Medical certificate based on complete medical examination, indicating that the applicant is physically and mentally fit to study in climatic environment of the Republic of Belarus.
Step 5. Enrolment
The decision on enrolment to VSMU is made on the bases of documents submitted and oral interview on the basic subjects. On arrival the Study Contract between the applicant and University is the payment of the tuition fee and other fees. The contract may be signed for the whole period of studies or for 1 year with the subsequent extension. The applicant is admitted to the university after fulfillment of payment for education and hostel.
NB! If the documents are not in Russian language, the applicant must submit the certified by notary translation.
