From September 25 to September 29, 2023 at the university the «Week of Vision Zero» is held.

The purpose of the «Week of Vision Zero» is to ensure the safety and health of workers at the workplace, prevent cases of industrial injuries at the university, aimed at rapid detection of violations of labour protection standards and development and application of measures to eliminate them.

The concept of «Vision Zero» was developed by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and presented in Singapore on September 4, 2017 at the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at work.

The main task of the concept is the organization of prevention, which combines three directions - safety, occupational health and well-being of university employees.

It is based on the conscious activity of all participants in the production process, from manager to employees, in order to prevent any accidents at work.

The principles of the «Week of Vision Zero» are:

  • priority of the employee’s life and health;
  • responsibility of managers and each employee for safety and compliance with labor protection requirements;
  • involvement of employees in ensuring safe and healthy working conditions;
  • assessment and management of risks in production;
  • training and informing workers on labor safety issues.
