On April 6-7, 2026, the city of Vitebsk hosted the final stage of the Republican Student Basketball League – 2025/2026 for men's teams in the 3K subgroup.

The team representing our university demonstrated great character and a strong will to win, securing an excellent 2nd place.

Congratulations to the VSMU team and coach Vyacheslav Sazonik, a senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education, on their successful performance in the competition.

On April 9, 2026, students and staff of VSMU organized a charity concert titled "Spring Motives" for the residents of the Vitebsk Social Boarding House of the state institution "Dvina".

On April 8, 2026, a Gala concert of the regional stage of the Republican review-competition of artistic creativity of students from higher education institutions, titled "ART Vacancies – 2026," took place.

More than 400 participants from universities in Vitebsk and the Vitebsk region performed before the jury. The performances included vocal and dance groups, as well as solo artists.

On April 7-8, 2026, an open volleyball tournament was held among women's teams representing labor collectives from enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The VSMU team secured 2nd place.

The team members included Natalia Dubina, Yulia Masalkova, Anna Goncharova, Victoria Gavrilenko, Kristina Pogodkina, and Angelina Godovalnikova.

On April 8, 2026, a career guidance meeting was held at Vitebsk State Medical College, where Lyubov Orekhova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Preparatory Training Course at Vitebsk State Medical University, addressed the graduate students.

During the event, the graduates received detailed information about the structure and traditions of VSMU. Lyubov Orekhova paid special attention to the key aspects of the 2026 admission campaign, as well as the specifics of enrolling applicants with secondary specialized education in the "Healthcare" field.
