Programs of international academic mobility

Erasmus+ Program

The Erasmus + program is a European Union program aimed at supporting cooperation in the area of education, vocational training, youth and sports.

One of the directions of the program is the academic mobility of students, teachers and staff. (Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals – Credit Mobility).

Credit Mobility provides scholarship support for the mobility of students, faculty and university administrators to European universities with which a cooperation agreement has been signed under the Erasmus + program. As a rule, students are provided with a scholarship to study at a European university for 3-12 months, teachers and staff are paid for short-term study placements from 5 to 60 days.

In 2020 VSMU received a grant for credit mobility under the European Union Erasmus + program at the University of Cordoba (Spain) and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
