On May 8, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU conducted a vocational guidance excursion for students of the branch of the educational establishment “Belarusian State Technological University”, “Vitebsk State Technological College” to the anatomical museum of VSMU, where they were shown the exhibits of the museum, as well as the features of the structure of the human body.

During the excursion the main attention of the students was focused on the specifics of studying at the medical university, and the importance of studying “Human Anatomy” as one of the fundamental disciplines for future doctors was repeatedly emphasized.

May 8, 2025, the delegation of VSMU took part in solemn events held in Vitebsk within the framework of celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The employees and students of VSMU took part in the marathon “80 good deeds in memory of the Great Victory” and made “Great Victory Flowers” within the framework of the action dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On the eve of Victory Day the trade union organization of Vitebsk State Medical University employees together with the university administration, primary organization “Belarusian Union of Women” of VSMU and Veterans Council visited the juvenile prisoners of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of VSMU with words of gratitude for many years of creative work, congratulations on Victory Day and gifts from public organizations: Mikhail Alexandrovich Nikolsky (professor, vice-rector on educational work of VSMU), Zoya Ivanovna Veremeeva (associate professor of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy), Lidia Grigoryevna Savelyeva (employee of the administrative and economic part), as well as children of the war: Memus Galina Grigoryevna and Khobotov Gennady Alexandrovich.

On May 7, 2025, a videoconference between VSMU, Chinese educational association Beijing FD International Education Technology Co., Ltd (FD EDU) and Taizhou Institute was held.
