On May 20, 2025, the faculty of pre-university training of VSMU organized a career guidance meeting for students of EE “Vitebsk State Medical College named after academician I.P. Antonov” on specialty “Medicine”, where the deputy dean of FPT VSMU Lyubov Orekhova acquainted students with the history, structure and conditions of education in VSMU, the features of the entrance campaign 2025, and also answered the questions asked.

At the end of the meeting there was an excursion to the anatomical museum of our university.

Young scientists of Vitebsk State Medical University took part in the IV Republican Forum of young scientists of establishments of higher education with international participation, held in Gomel on the 18-20^th of May, 2025.

On May 19, the event was solemnly opened. Within the framework of the Forum, plenary reports of the representatives of the Ministry of Education and the National Academy of Sciences were heard.

Kirill Kislov and Dmitry Alifirenko, a 6th year students of the Medical Faculty of VSMU, spoke at the XVIII International Scientific Conference ‘Belarus in the Modern World’.

The topic of the speech - ‘The Great Victory: The Role of Belarus in Historical and Geopolitical Processes 80 Years Later’ - was devoted to the comprehension of Belarus' contribution to the victory over Nazism and the influence of these events on the country's modern geopolitical position.

The Students of VSMU became participants of the forum of student mass media ‘Media Industry’, which was held on the 13-17^th of May, 2025, on the basis of Pskov State University. The event united more than 100 students from 12 universities of Belarus and 28 universities and colleges of Russia. This year the forum was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 17, 2025, on the basis of the State Educational Establishment ‘Braslav Gymnasium’ there was held a career guidance event for the students of general secondary education establishments  of Braslav district of Vitebsk region ‘Target Training Fair’. Lubov Orekhova, the deputy dean of the FPS, took part in the meeting with the pupils of 9-11 grades of educational establishments, as well as Alesya Vyazitskaya, the head of the Braslav Central District Polyclinic of the Braslav Central Regional Hospital Alesya Vyazitskaya and Olga Rudakova, the head doctor of the Braslav District Hygiene and Epidemiology Centre.
