On May 12, 2026, the festive event "Victorious May" was held at the Stomatological Faculty.

On May 12, 2026, VSMU students and staff took part in the International Forum "Meaning. Life. The Future", which took place at the Cultural, Spiritual and Educational Center "Ark" (Minsk).

The delegation of Vitebsk State Medical University, headed by the Rector of the University Alexey Chukanov, is taking part in the 31st International Medical Forum "Healthcare of Belarus-2026", which is taking place from May 12 to May 15, 2026 at the Minsk International Exhibition Center.

From May 4 to May 8, 2026, at the Baranovichi State University Educational institution, the international youth forum "I say YES!" brought together about 200 participants – activists from Belarusian and Russian universities. 

Vitebsk State Medical University was represented by Ksenia Radyuk, a 3rd-year student of the Stomatological Faculty.

The event was dedicated to key values: historical memory, peace, unity, creativity, the commonwealth of cultures, respect for women, professionalism, work, a healthy lifestyle and the continuity of generations.

On May 10, 2026, a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the National Flag, the National Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus took place on the Flag and Coat of Arms Square in Vitebsk.
