On April 3, 2024, as part of the innovative educational project “VSMU Youth for Family Values!” a dialogue platform took place at VSMU with the participation of the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Dmitry Kuzhel and the VSMU students.

VSMU has announced the competitions to create a logo for the 90th anniversary of the university, as well as the VSMU mascot (the name of the mascot is welcome).

The competitions run from April 1 to April 30, 2024. Summing up – May 6, 2024.

On April 3, 2024, a republican meeting was held on the basis of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University” on the results of the work of the ultrasound diagnostic service of the Republic of Belarus for 2023 and the directions of activity for 2024.

On April 2, 2024, a solemn Council was held at the Vitebsk State Medical University dedicated to the awarding the winners of the university Olympiads in the academic subjects “Biology” and “Chemistry”, who have the right to be admitted to the university without entrance examinations.

On March 31, 2024, mini-football competitions organized by the students of the India community took place in the large sports hall of VSMU. Students from Sri Lanka, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen and other countries also took part in the games. Among the men's, the "Tusker" team took 1st place, 2nd and 3rd - "Black panthers" and "Honey badgers". Gold and silver among women's teams were shared by "Targervens" and "House stars".
