On October 27, 2023, the Plenary meeting of the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Student Medical Science of the 21st Century” was held in the conference hall of the main educational building of VSMU.

On October 27, 2023, the delegation from VSMU, consisting of employees of the Department of Oncology with a course of physical education and training at VSMU and employees of VRCOD, took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Breast Cancer” at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after. N.N. Alexandrova. The head of the Department of Oncology with the course of TTC and ATC Doctor of Medical Sciences Evgeniy Shlyakhtunov presented a report on the topic “Circulating tumor cells, microRNA and resistance to Trastuzumab.”

The representatives of the VSMU youth wing of the primary organization of the РO "BWU" took part in the opening of the Vitebsk regional club "Happiness" of the public association "Belarusian Union of Women", held on October 26, 2023 in the Vitebsk concert hall.

From October 10 to October 27, 2023, the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU organized career guidance excursions with the 1-2 year students of the educational establishment “Vitebsk State Medical College named after. Academician I.P. Antonov." More than 200 students of the medical college visited the anatomical museum as part of the excursions and, thanks to the teachers of the human anatomy department, learned a lot of interesting information about the museum exhibits. During the excursion, the guys asked questions that interested them about the structure of the human body, and got acquainted with the structure of the anatomical museum and the university as a whole.

October 27, 2023 on the basis of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after. Maxim Tank hosted a republican seminar chaired by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets “Key problems and prospects for diversifying the export of educational services.” The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU Denis Lits and the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations of VSMU Elena Sharykhina.
