03.02.2025 at the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining in Pedagogy and Psychology, the implementation of the educational program for advanced training of executives and specialists on the curriculum "Content and Methodological Aspects of Teaching Therapeutic Disciplines at a Medical University" began.

On January 31, 2025, a ceremonial signing of a cooperation agreement between VSMU and the Industry Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Teaching Staff at Tashkent Medical Academy took place. The agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits and the Director of the Industry Center Umida Tashkenbaeva.

The ceremonial meeting of VSMU, dedicated to the first graduation of the winter reception of "Doctors of Medicine" of the faculty of overseas student’s training, was held on January 31, 2025. The graduates were 19 foreign citizens studying in the specialty "General Medicine".

On January 31, 2025, in the Palace of Independence, Alexander Lukashenko presented diplomas of Doctor of Sciences and certificates of professor to scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers.

The diploma of Doctor of Medical Sciences was received by the Rector of the Vitebsk Medical University Alexey Chukanov for the development and implementation in the clinical practice of interdistrict resource centers for prenatal diagnostics of the Republic of Belarus of highly effective methods of prenatal diagnostics of fetal malformations, which help to reduce prenatal losses and disabilities in children.
