On October 26, 2023, the opening of the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Student Medical Science of the 21st Century” took place at VSMU.

The opening of the section “Healthy mother - healthy child” was held by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elena Asiryan. Also, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elena Asiryan, scientific director of the SRS Evgeniy Shlyakhtunov and head of the SRS Angelina Kuzmenkova attended the section meetings.

During the conference, there were 15 sections, in which 114 substantive reports were heard, well illustrated, reflecting modern trends in theoretical and practical medicine, and pharmacy. During the work of the sections, a discussion of the reports took place, and the winners were determined.

The conference was attended by guests from Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Penza, Ryazan, Saratov, Saransk, Smolensk, Tver and all medical universities of the Republic of Belarus (over 75 people).
