Each theater season, the trade union committee of students and employees of the Vitebsk State Medical University, for the purpose of moral and aesthetic education, provides the opportunity to attend performances of the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theater with a pleasant discount for students and employees of the university. On December 7, 2023, 200 students and 50 employees of our university, with the organizational and financial support of VSMU trade union committees of students and employees, attended the play “Uncle’s Dream” based on Fyodor Dostoevsky.

After the end of the production, it was clear that not a single viewer was left unimpressed by what they have seen. “The stage was filled with colorful costumes and interesting decorations, complementing the atmosphere of the production. The professionalism of the actors, as always, was at its best - they lit up the stage and conveyed their emotions with ease. Their energy and insight were contagious, and we ourselves began to experience the emotions of the characters, empathizing with them in every scene,” the 4th year student Anna Kislova shared her impressions.

The students and staff of VSMU thanked their primary schools for the opportunity to touch the world of art.
