On February 23, 2024, a festive rally was held in Vitebsk in honor of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, in which the employees of the Vitebsk State Medical University, the representatives of veteran and trade union organizations of the university took part. The participants of the event laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial complex in honor of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters of the Vitebsk region.
