On March 22, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Work and Projects, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of General Dentistry of North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov Alexey Silin visited VSMU.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Head of the Department of International and Interregional Relations Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva, during which the prospects for academic student exchanges, the creation of inclusive learning programs, and mutual lectures for students, residents and teachers were discussed.

Alexey Silin gave a lecture and conducted a master class “Characteristics of the stages of osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joint according to MRI examination” for the 4th year students of the Faculty of Dentistry, and also met with the dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of VSMU Ivan Karpuk.
