On March 25-29, 2024, the Vitebsk City Cup in table tennis among men's and women's teams was held at school No. 17.

18 men's and 10 women's teams of FCC organizations, educational establishments, and sports schools of the city took part in the competition.

The VSMU students took part in these competitions, which are one of the stages of preparation for competitions among higher education establishments in the city of Vitebsk. The team included: Dmitry Gromov (6 MF), Andrey Zhilich (5 MF), Ilya Kapitonov (3 StF); Pogodkina Kristina (3 MF), Kayukalo Valeria (4 StF), Denisik Veronica (4 PhF).

According to the results of the competition, the boys' team took 8th place, the girls' team took 3rd place.
