April 18, 2024, the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine Kushchin M.K. and Ladik N.O. took part in the LXXXV Annual final scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation “Current issues of experimental and clinical medicine - 2024”, held at the First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after the acad. I.P. Pavlova, where they made a report on the topic: “Evaluation of the expression level of microRNA-489-3p in experimental liver fibrosis” (headed by the Associate Professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology Lebedeva E.I.).

The scientific work of our second-year students was recognized as one of the best and took second prize.

Kushchin M.K. and Ladik N.O. actively participated in the discussion of reports at the section and asked a large number of questions. The teaching staff and jury members highly appreciated the level of special and general education training of our university students, and also expressed a desire to visit our country and the university on a return visit.
