As part of the systematic work to increase the export of educational services, on May 7, 2024, VSMU hosted a working meeting of the university management represented by the Rector Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Litsa Denis, the Head of the department of international and interregional relations Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the department international relations of Anna Pchelintseva with the directorate of the recruiting company IMC Education (Sri Lanka).

During the meeting with the university management, the issues of training citizens of Sri Lanka and the Maldives at VSMU were discussed.
