VSMU administration continues monitoring internship bases and first jobs of young specialists.
On September 25, 2024, VSMU administration headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov, as well as the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits held meetings with interns and young specialists of Minsk healthcare institutions in order to assess the quality of professional training of personnel and provide comprehensive assistance (social, legal and other) to university graduates.
The VSMU administration talked to young specialists and interns of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd city clinical hospitals, the City Emergency Hospital, and the city clinical infectious diseases hospital.
Also, a meeting with young specialists of the Frunzensky district polyclinics of Minsk was held at the 2nd central district polyclinic.
During the dialogue much attention was paid to labor, social, legal aspects, issues of internship and adaptation in a new team.
Those present were able to ask questions of interest to them and receive detailed, qualified answers.
During the meeting, several important issues raised by young specialists and interns concerning housing, living and labor issues were discussed and immediately resolved.
Such meetings provide an opportunity to discuss current issues that young specialists face at the initial stage of their careers, as well as to make decisions that improve the further professional training of young doctors.
