On December 4, 2024, the VSMU students visited one of the picturesque districts of the Vitebsk region - Ushachy, where they visited the Museum of People's Glory named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.E. Lobank, dedicated to the heroic Ushachy partisan zone, as well as the memorial complex "Breakthrough".
District Ushachy is the small homeland of the writer Vasil Bykov, poets Ryhor Borodulin and Petrus Brovka, which became a source of inspiration for their work.
As part of the excursion tour, participants were able to get acquainted with the expositions of the Obol Komsomol Underground Museum, located in the urban settlement of Obol, Shumilino district.
