On December 11, 2024, a meeting of the VSMU administration representatives with the first-year students of the pediatric faculty on the topic of preventing extremism and terrorism was held. The students received relevant memos, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel N.B. Dorofeev, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work D.K. Kuzhel, the Deputy Dean Ya.O. Perevalov gave the necessary explanations and comments.

Then there was a joint viewing of the investigative film "Children under the gun: recruited by the enemy." The film evoked an emotional response from the students.
