On December 11, 2024, a meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Viktorovich Durnov with the students and the university workforce was held at Vitebsk State Medical University.

The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue, which allowed the participants to freely exchange opinions and ask questions.

The main topics for discussion were the socio-economic development of the Vitebsk region, election campaign issues, as well as student initiatives.

Vyacheslav Viktorovich spoke in detail about the achievements of the northern region in industry, agriculture, education, medicine and other areas, plans for the development of the Vitebsk region.

During the meeting important aspects were touched upon, such as support for young specialists, the creation of new jobs and the development of educational programs.

Vyacheslav Viktorovich noted the importance of students' contribution to the development of the region and expressed his readiness to continue to support their initiatives.

During the dialogue Vyacheslav Viktorovich noted the importance of each citizen's participation in the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the degree of responsibility for their choice to ensure an independent path of development of the country, maintaining peace and stability.

During the event many questions were asked, which indicated the high interest of students and the staff of VSMU in the topics discussed.

This event provided the students and staff of VSMU with an excellent opportunity to exchange opinions, ideas and became an excellent reason to think about the future of our country and what contribution each of us can make to its development.
