On January 12, 2025, the VSMU students Olga Dyagileva and Vanda Serko together with the head of the Diaconal Center of the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the diocesan center for motherhood, childhood and family values ​​in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness" Inna Kostyukovich, visited the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital as part of the charity events "Our Children" and "Joy of the Nativity of Christ".

Students participating in the innovative educational project "Large Families - National Wealth of Belarus. VSMU Youth for Family Values" congratulated the hospital patients on Christmas, held educational games for the children, and presented them with sweet gifts prepared by the diocesan center.

The campaign is held annually with the aim of forming an active social and civic position among student youth, developing such personal qualities as mercy, compassion, willingness to serve society, people in difficult life situations, lonely and disabled people, and orphans.
