On January 22, 2025, on the eve of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, a dialogue platform "Faculty of Medicine: achievements, ways and prospects of development" was held with the participation of the Rector Alexey Chukanov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Natalya Konevalova, the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolay Dorofeev, the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Employees Alexander Myasoedov, the work collectives of the departments of general surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology and neurosurgery, psychiatry and narcology, and the military department.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Marina Fomina presented to the audience the achievements of the faculty in the field of education, science and educational work over the past year. She noted that the results obtained were the result of the responsible attitude of teachers to their work, effective management decisions of the university management and a targeted state policy aimed at development.

The heads of departments noted the systematic nature of their work and the absence of significant difficulties, and also made suggestions for further improvement of the educational process.

Alexander Myasoedov spoke about specific forms of social assistance provided by the trade union organization.

After watching the film "Belarus Creating" Nikolai Dorofeev acquainted the participants of the dialogue platform with the election program of the current President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and drew attention to the seriousness of the approach of each citizen to the upcoming elections.

The participants of the discussion expressed support for the preservation of peace and the modern vector of development of our state, which is possible only with the presence of cohesion, common creative activity led by a charismatic leader.
