On January 28, 2025, the negotiations were held in the format of a video conference between VSMU and a new partner from India, the Chandigarh Group of Colleges.

The Indian partners were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work, Denis Lits. The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Valentina Kugach, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Anna Pchelintseva.

The Representatives of the Indian educational institution were impressed by the presentation on the activities of VSMU, noted its high level in international rankings and the presence of international accreditation. A discussion was held on the possibilities of cooperation in the field of pharmacy in the form of student exchanges under short-term and long-term programs, participation in summer educational schools, and joint events. An agreement was reached on organizing joint online lectures and participation in scientific and educational events in February and March 2025.
