On January 29, 2025, the 80th scientific session of the University "Achievements in fundamental, clinical medicine and pharmacy" began its work at the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the formation of VSMU and timed to coincide with the Day of Belarusian Science.

On the first day of the session 16 sectional meetings were held, within the framework of which 157 reports were read by the employees of our university and guests from the universities of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

During the discussion, in a number of cases, debates arose and practical recommendations were given.
