The ceremonial meeting of VSMU, dedicated to the first graduation of the winter reception of "Doctors of Medicine" of the faculty of overseas student’s training, was held on January 31, 2025. The graduates were 19 foreign citizens studying in the specialty "General Medicine".

The Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits addressed the graduates and guests of the event with a welcoming speech, noting that the graduates have become part of the large medical family of VSMU and will represent the university in their countries, contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of medicine.

The results of the state examinations at the faculty of overseas student’s training in the specialty "General Medicine" were summed up by the chairman of the state examination committee, the deputy chief physician for medical affairs of the healthcare institution "Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital No. 1" Evgeny Vladimirovich Kulyakin.

The graduates warmly thanked the staff and teachers of the university.

Citizens of 11 countries will take home their medical diplomas: Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, the Republic of Maldives, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Ecuador.
