Participants in the Winter Scientific and Educational School “Current Trends in Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology”, which took place on the basis of VSMU on February 3-7, 2025, became students and clinical residents from the universities of Vitebsk, Minsk and Pskov.

The school program included modern ideas about pathogenesis, diagnostic algorithms and the principles of therapy for relevant dermatological diseases from the standpoint of evidence -based medicine; general and private issues of interdisciplinary interaction, diagnosis and treatment in real clinical practice.

In practical classes in the stationary and outpatient departments of the clinical base of the Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology of the VSMU, experienced teachers of the department organized and conducted for participants in the series of clinical analysis of rare and common dermatoses and urogenital infections transmitted sexually; clearly demonstrated the capabilities and diagnostic significance of the methods of optical diagnosis of the skin.

The active participation of students and clinical residents in the theoretical and practical blocks of the event gives confidence that the Winter School-2025 has become a creative impulse for them both for further studies and for planning student scientific papers.
