Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU, addressed the participants of the round table, noting the growing interest to additive technologies in scientific and educational sphere.

The session discussed the history and prospects of additive technologies (Pivovar M.L., VSMU). The experience of using additive technologies was shared: for modeling in biopharmaceutical drug development - Bakhrushina E.O., Sechenov University, Moscow; modeling of pre-tumor diseases of the oral mucosa - Karpuk I.Y., VSMU, obtaining compositions for three-dimensional printing to develop drug delivery systems - Maimistov D.N., Gusev K.A., Danilova A.A., SPCPU, St. Petersburg. There were also reports on the use of additive technologies in the Armed Forces (A.M. Tsygankov, VSMU), for the creation of medical devices (A.L. Klimentiev, VSTU), maintenance of testing laboratories (A.Y. Efremova, VSMU), in the training of medical university students (V.A. Taller, VSMU). The round table was also attended by the representatives of the cluster: P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University, Vitebsk RUE “Pharmacia”, the students and staff of Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University.
