On February 19, 2025 the students of the university took part in the event “our language - our heritage: past and present”, which was held in the exhibition hall “Dukhovskoy Kruglik”.

The moderator of the meeting, timed to coincide with the International Mother Language Day, was Natalia Vladimirovna Tkacheva, the first deputy chairman of the board of the Vitebsk regional organization “Belarusian Society” Znanie”.

The students had an opportunity to restore their knowledge about the historical roots of our language, as well as to listen to excerpts from the works of Belarusian authors performed by Raisa Gribovich, an artist of the Yakub Kolas Theater.
