On March 13-14, 2025, in the Belarusian-Russian University in the city of Mogilev the XVI Open Festival of creativity of foreign students “Friendship of Peoples” took place.

VSMU students from Sri Lanka traditionally took part in it.

The group “Mixfeeds” of VSMU conquered the jury and spectators with unforgettable national dances and won the Grand Prix of the festival!

In addition, the student Gleshan Subasinghe received the Diploma of I degree, and the duet of Salma and Awanki received the Diploma of II degree for vocal talents.

A total of 70 foreign students from Asia, Africa and Europe, representing seven higher educational establishments of Belarus, took part in this bright event.

Such festivals help to strengthen international ties, exchange cultural values and create a friendly atmosphere among students from different countries.
