On March 20, 2025, the employees and students of Vitebsk State Medical University attended the excursion “Walk around the Palace”, organized with the support of trade union committees of the VSMU employees and students.

The route started at the Town Hall, where the group walked around the historical part of the city, getting acquainted with architectural monuments and landmarks. The culmination of the tour was a visit to the former Governor's Palace - a majestic building, which is one of the bright sights of Vitebsk. Inside, the participants plunged into the atmosphere of the past, learning about the life and life of the former inhabitants of the building.

The excursionists were able to appreciate not only the architectural features of the Palace, but also learn about its role in the cultural and political life of the region.

The excursion left vivid impressions, reminding of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and inspiring them to further study the history of their native city.
